ApprenticeNYC: Advanced Manufacturing
helps New Yorkers develop in-demand skills in a high-growth occupation such as CNC Machinist, Welder, and Industrial Mechanic. The program consists of three phases of full-time training:
Pre-apprenticeship
- Four weeks of hybrid training, consisting of both independent study and hands-on sessions. Upon completion, you will have an opportunity to obtain a Certification in Manufacturing (CMfgA).
Apprenticeship
- 12 weeks of fully hands-on, project-based classroom training.
- 40 weeks of on-the-job training with select employer.

HVAC Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program
Gain the skills needed to enter the in-demand field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The provides 12 weeks of full-time classroom and hands-on training, career support and connections to jobs, and industry-recognized credentials and certifications:
- OSHA 30
- OSHA Site Safety
- EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Section 608
- Mold Awareness
- Confined Space
- Fire Safety
- Asbestos
- NCCER HVAC Credentials
