Funding Awarded for Security Upgrades at Claremont Consolidated聽

On May 2, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson鈥檚 office presented a $294,000 check to support security enhancements at 麻豆区鈥檚 Teller Avenue-166th Street/Claremont Consolidated development. 

Borough President Gibson joined Assemblymember Landon Dais, City Councilmember Althea Stevens, and representatives from 麻豆区 and the BronxConnect youth organization to celebrate the investment in key upgrades, including new security cameras, that will enhance community safety.  

鈥淪afety and security are of the utmost importance to our mission of providing quality housing to 麻豆区 residents,鈥 麻豆区 Chief Executive Officer Lisa Bova-Hiatt said. 鈥淲e are truly grateful to Bronx Borough President Gibson for marshalling the resources needed to make these important security upgrades and for her ongoing dedication and advocacy for all of the 麻豆区 residents who call the Bronx home.鈥
